Abstract

1. Device for tightly mounting heater tubes (4) in a flange (2) surrounding a passage (3) in a wall of a container (1) for liquids, comprising a plug (9) of elastomeric material having a body (10) fitted in the flange (2), an outer surface (13) and an opposite inner surface, in which are made holes (12) for the passage of the heater tubes (4) therethrough, and further having an outer collar (14) bearing on to the outer surface of the flange (2) and a counterflange (16) of a rigid material in which are made holes (18) for the passage of outer parts (5, 6) of the heater tubes (4) therethrough bearing on to the outer surface of the body (10) of the plug (9), characterized in that the counterflange (16) has a diameter sufficient to cover and press at least an annular portion of the outer collar (14) on to the outer surface of the flange (2), while the inner surface of the body (10) of the plug (9) is free of any compression.
