TRATAMIENTO DE CARBON MOLIDO CON UN ACIDO FUERTE (CLORHIDRICO, NITRICO), MANTENIMIENTO AGITACION. 2. DECANTADO DE LA SUSPENSION CON SEPARACION DE LAS FASES LIQUIDA Y SOLIDA Y LAVADO DEL RESIDUO SOLIDO. 3. PASO DE LA SOLUCION POR UNA RESINA DE INTERCAMBIO IONICO FUERTE, PRETRATADA CON EL MISMO ACIDO EMPLEADO EN LA DISOLUCION INICIAL; LA DISOLUCION SE LLEVA A SEQUEDAD Y SE DISUELVE EL ACIDO SULFURICO, PASANDOSE A OTRA COLUMNA DEL MISMO PRETRATADA CON SULFURICO DILUIDO. 4. LAVADO DE LA DISOLUCION ANTERIOR CON ACIDO SULFURICO, SE ELUYE CON ACIDO Y EL ELUDIO CONTIENE EL URANIO ORIGINALMENTE PRESENTE EN EL CARBON, EN FORMA DE SAL SOLUBLE.
