PROCEDIMIENTO Y APARATO PARA EL REVESTIMIENTO DE INMERSION EN CALIENTE DE UN BANDA METALICA CON UN METAL DE REVESTIMIENTO FUNDIDO. CARACTERIZADO DICHO PROCEDIMIENTO PORQUE COMPRENDE LAS FASES DE: PROPORCIONAR UN RECINTO EN RELACION DE ESTANQUEIDAD CON EL BAÑO PARA LA BANDA METALICA DE BASE FERROSA, MANTENER UNA ATMOSFERA ANTIOXIDANTE DENTRO DEL RECINTO, SITUAR UNA TOBERA DE ACABADO POR CHORRO A CADA LADO DE LA BANDA REVESTIDA, DAR UN ACABADO POR CHORRO CON UN GAS ANTIOXIDANTE Y MANTENER DENTRO DEL RECINTO UN NIVEL DE OXIGENO INFERIOR A APROXIMADAMENTE 200 PPM. EL APARATO ESTA CARACTERIZADO PORQUE TIENE UN RECIPIENTE DE REVESTIMIENTO (8), MEDIOS PARA CONDUCIR LA BANDA METALICA (9) A TRAVES DEL BAÑO, MEDIOS DE PREPARACION DE LA BANDA METALICA (2, 3, 4, 5), UN PAR DE TOBERAS DE ACABADO POR CHORRO (28, 29) DENTRO DE UN RECINTO (27) Y MEDIOS PARA PROPORCIONAR ESTANQUEIDAD AL RECINTO (27).PROCEDURE AND APPARATUS FOR HOT DIP COATING A METAL STRIP WITH A MOLTEN COATING METAL. SAID PROCEDURE IS CHARACTERIZED BECAUSE IT INCLUDES THE PHASES OF: PROVIDING AN ENCLOSURE IN A WATERPROOF RELATIONSHIP WITH THE BATH FOR THE FERROUS-BASED METAL BAND, MAINTAINING AN ANTIOXIDANT ATMOSPHERE INSIDE THE ENCLOSURE, PLACING A JET FINISHING NOZZLE ON EACH SIDE OF THE COATED BAND, GIVE A JET FINISH WITH AN ANTIOXIDANT GAS AND MAINTAIN AN OXYGEN LEVEL LOWER THAN APPROXIMATELY 200 PPM INSIDE THE ENCLOSURE. THE APPARATUS IS CHARACTERIZED BECAUSE IT HAS A COATING CONTAINER (8), MEANS FOR DRIVING THE METAL BAND (9) THROUGH THE BATH, MEANS FOR PREPARING THE METAL BAND (2, 3, 4, 5), A PAIR OF NOZZLES JET FINISHING (28, 29) WITHIN AN ENCLOSURE (27) AND MEANS TO PROVIDE WATERTIGHTING TO THE ENCLOSURE (27).
