SE HACE REACCIONAR 3-NITRO-1-FENIL-1-(M-CLOROFENIL)-PROPAN-2-OL, DISUELTO EN UN ALCANOL C1-4, CON HIDROGENO A PRESION DE 6,8 A 27,2 ATM., ENTRE O Y 120 GC, UTILIZANDO NIQUEL RANEY COMO CATALIZADOR. SE DIMETILA LA AMINA OBTENIDA POR UN METODO CONVENCIONAL Y, EVENTUALMENTE, SE TRATA CON ACIDO PARA OBTENER LA SAL. TIENE APLICACION FARMACOLOGICA COMO AGENTE MODIFICADOR DEL HUMOR.
