EL CONDENSADOR FLUYE POR LOS MEDIOS DE EXPANSION (22), REDUCIENDOSE LA TEMPERATURA Y PRESION DEL MISMO. DESPUES ATRAVIESA EL EVAPORADOR (24), EVAPORANDOSE AL ABSORBER CALOR DEL AGUA, MAS CALIENTE, QUE CIRCULA POR EL SERPENTIN (50). EL REFRIGERANTE EVAPORADO ES ASPIRADO POR LA CONDUCCION (52) MEDIANTE EL COMPRESOR (18). POR LA TUBERIA (58) SE TRANSMITE PARTE DE VAPOR DE ALTA PRESION A LA ETAPA SEGUNDA (26) DEL COMPRESOR. ESTA COMPRIME MAS EL VAPOR, DESCARGANDOLO, POR EL CONDUCTO (60), AL CONDENSADOR (30) DE RECUPERACION DE CALOR, DONDE TRANSFIERE CALOR AL AGUA DE CALDEO, QUE PASA POR EL SERPENTIN (62), Y SE CONDENSA.
