Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO DE ACTIVACION O REACTIVACION DE CATALIZADORES PORTADORES DE PLATA PARA LA OBTENCION DE OXIDO DE ETILENO. CONSISTE EN HACER PASAR LA MEZCLA DEL GAS DE REACCION A TRAVES DE UNA CAPA DE UNIONES METALICAS PROMOTORAS DE GRANO FINO, O DE UN MATERIAL PORTADOR EXENTO DE PLATA, PERO EMPAPADO DE UNIONES METALICAS PROMOTORAS. DICHA CAPA VA COLOCADA DIRECTAMENTE EN UN LUGAR DE ENTRADA DE LOS GASES DE REACCION EN EL TUBO DE REACCION EN UN RECIPIENTE SEPARADO, INTRODUCENDOSE EN EL TUBO DE REACCION, DELANTE DE LA ZONA SOLICITADA POR EL CATALIZADOR, A UNA ALTURA QUE CORRESPONDE, APROXIMADAMENTE, DEL 1 A 20% DE LA LONGITUD DE DICHO TUBO. EL SOPORTE DE LA CAPA QUE CONTIENE LOS COMPUESTOS DE LOS METALES PROMOTORES CORRESPONDEN AL DEL CATALIZADOR PORTADOR DE PLATA. DICHOS COMPUESTOS ESTAN CONSTITUIDOS PREFERENTEMENTE POR COMBINACION DE POTASIO Y/O RUBIDIO Y/O CESIO Y/O BARIO.
