PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE COPOLIMEROS DE MONOMEROS DE BAJA SOLUBILIDAD EN AGUA. CONSISTE EN MEZCLAR UN MONOMERO ELEGIDO ENTRE ALQUILESTIRENO, ESTERES DE ACIDOS ACRILICO Y METACRILICO, ESTERES Y ETERES VINILICOS Y ACIDO ACRILICO O METACRILICO; EMULSIONAR LA MEZCLA EN UN DILUYENTE ACUOSO Y POLIMERIZADA POR CALENTAMIENTO A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 15 Y 60 GRADOS CENTIGRADOS EN PRESENCIA DE UN TENSOACTIVO ANIONICO Y DE UN INICIADOR SOLUBLE EN AGUA, EN ATMOSFERA INERTE, Y FINALMENTE AÑADIR A LA MEZCLA DE REACCION UN AGENTE DE TRANSFERENCIA DE CADENAS. ESTOS COPOLIMEROS TIENEN APLICACIONES COMO ADITIVOS A COMBUSTIBLES HIDROCARBONADOS LIQUIDOS.
