Abstract
METODO Y APARATO PARA CONTROLAR LA TRANSFERENCIA DE CALOR AL LECHO DE CARGA DE UN HORNO ROTATORIO, EL CUAL REDUCE DIRECTAMENTE MATERIALES QUE CONTIENEN OXIDOS DE METAL, UTILIZANDO UN SUMINISTRO DE AGENTE REDUCTOR CARBONOSO SOLIDO. EL METODO COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, SE INYECTAN DENTRO DEL HORNO CANTIDADES DOSIFICADAS DE GAS QUE CONTIENEN OXIGENO; SEGUNDA, SE ALIMENTA EL AGENTE REDUCTOR CARBONOSO SOLIDO EN FORMA DE PARTICULAS SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL LECHO DE CARGA; TERCERA, SE AJUSTA LA ALIMENTACION Y DISTRIBUCION DEL AGENTE REDUCTOR EN LA ZONA DE TRABAJO DEL HORNO, MEDIANTE LA ACCION DE INSUFLAR DICHO AGENTE REDUCTOR, MEZCLADO CON AIRE A BAJA PRESION, A TRAVES DE UNA TUBERIA (8); Y POR ULTIMO, MEDIANTE UN DISPOSITIVO POSICIONADOR (40) SE AJUSTA LA ORIENTACION DE DICHA TUBERIA.
