EN LA PARTE INFERIOR HAY UNA ZONA PARA RECOGER EL METAL PRODUCIDO Y EN LA PARTE MEDIA, EXISTE AL MENOS UNA SERIE DE ELECTRODOS DISPUESTOS EN PILA, INCLUYENDO CADA UNA DE ELLAS UN ELECTRODO DE LLEVADA DE CORRIENTE, ELEMENTOS MULTIPOLARES INTERMEDIOS Y UN ELECTRODO DE SALIDA DE CORRIENTE QUE DEFINE ESPACIOS INTERPOLARES REGULARES.
