Abstract

In this projector with coloured screens which are interposed selectively on the light beam from a light source and are mounted on at least one rotary disc moved by a drive device, each disc (1) comprises exclusively three coloured sectors (2, 3, 4), in which one colour (generally white) is common to all the discs the drive device of each disc is associated with a control device so as to rotate the disc by an increment corresponding to the passage of the coloured sector traversed by the light beam to the new coloured sector selected to be traversed by the light beam, through the shortest angular path, by virtue of which the passage from one common different colour to another colour, different from the common colour, takes place without going via the common colour.
