CONSISTE EN INTRODUCIR EN UN REACTOR, PROVISTO DE UN DISPOSITIVO AGITADOR, UNA PARTE DEL AGUA, LA CANTIDAD TOTAL DE ACIDO ITACOICO, UNA BASE, LA CANTIDAD TOTAL DEL EMULSIONANTE ANIONICO, ASI COMO UNA PARTE DE LOS MONOMEROS, DE MANERA QUE EL PH DE LA MEZCLA AGITADA ESTE COMPRENDIDO ENTRE 3,5 Y 6,0; SEGUNDA, SE INICIA LA POLIMERIZACION A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 70 GRADOS, COMO MINIMO, MEDIANTE LA ADICION DE UN 0,5 HASTA UN 1,5% EN PESO, REFERIDO AL MONOMERO TOTAL, DE UN PEROXODISULFATO AMONICO O ALCALINO; Y POR ULTIMO, SE AGREGA DE MANERA CONTINUA UN FLUJO NO ACUOSO QUE CONTIENE EL RESTO DE MONOMEROS Y UN FLUJO ACUOSO QUE CONTIENE LA CANTIDAD RESTANTE DE PEROXODISULFATO AMONICO O ALCALINO, MIENTRAS EL REACTOR SE MANTIENE A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 75 Y 150 GRADOS.
