CONSISTE EN PASAR IONES CALCIO O LITIO A TRAVES DE UNA RESINA DE CAMBIO IONICO DEBILMENTE ACIDA, EN FORMA DE UNA DISOLUCION DE UNA SAL DE CALCIO O DE LITIO; SEGUIDA DE UNA DISOLUCION ACUOSA DEL ACIDO 2-OXO-1,5-PENTANODIOICO; EFLUIR CON AGUA DESMINERALIZADA; CONCENTRACION DEL EFLUENTE HASTA CRISTALIZACION; Y SEPARACION DEL PRODUCTO CRISTALIZADO POR FILTRACION. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE AFECCIONES DEL SISTEMA NERVIOSO CENTRAL.
