LA REACCION SE CONTROLA MIDIENDO LA ELECTROPOTENCIA DE LA SOLUCION DE VANADIO TRATADA, Y EN RESPUESTA A ELLO, REGULANDO LA INTRODUCCION DE LA SOLUCION DE ACIDO DE CARO. EL VANADIO OXIDADO, SE PUEDE SEPARAR POR CONTACTO CON AMINAS TERCIARIAS O RESINAS DE INTERCAMBIO IONICAS. LA SOLUCION DE VANADIO SE MANTIENE A UN PH COMPRENDIDO ENTRE 1 Y 3. EL PUNTO DE CORTE PREDETERMINADO SE SELECCIONA A POTENCIAL MEDIO DE MAS DE 700 M<V CON REFERENCIA A UN SISTEMA DE ELECTRODOS DE PT, AG/AGCL.
