SE SOMETE A REACCION DE REDUCCION A UN COMPUESTO (II) PARA OBTENER EL COMPUESTO (I) EN QUE R>1 ES HIDROGENO; R>2 ES HIDROGENO O METILO; R>3 ES HIDROGENO, FLUOR, CLORO, BROMO, TRIFLUORMETILO O ALQUILO; A ES HIDROGENO, BROMO, CLORO O FLUOR; X ES ALQUILENO Y R>4 ES ALCOXI, HIDROXI O AMONIO OPCIONALMENTE SUSTITUIDO CON UNO O MAS GRUPOS ALQUILO INFERIOR. OPCIONALMENTE SE OBTIENEN LAS SALES DE ADICION DE ACIDO FARMACEUTICAMENTE ACEPTABLES. LA REDUCCION PUEDE EFECTUARSE POR MEDIOS QUIMICOS CONVENCIONALES O BIEN POR METODOS CATALITICOS.
