Abstract

The rotor rotates eccentrically w.r.t. the longitudinal axis of the external stator which is of synthetic rubber with a threaded internal surface. A flexible coupling rod connects the rotor to the drive shaft with a baffle ring and washer. - Each end of the coupling rod is of conical shape with an external thread and a shoulder to distribute the coupling stresses near the end of the thread. A tapered axial recess in the end of the drive shaft accepts the threaded end of the rod and is provided with a cylindrical threaded collar. A connecting piece is double-bored with two internal threads which correspond to those of the rod and collar, and may be protected by a dust-excluding ring.
