CONSISTE EN: AISLAR Y PURIFICAR FENILALANINA HIDROXILASA DEL TEJIDO DEL HIGADO HUMANO O ANIMAL; OBTENER Y AISLAR ANTICUERPOS CONTRA LA FENILALANINA HIDROXILASA PURIFICADA; OBTENER MRNA DE LA FENILALANINA HIDROXILASA ENRIQUECIDO POR POLISOMAS, MEDIANTE INMUNOPRECIPITACION DE POLISOMAS DEL HIGADO EMPLEANDO LOS ANTICUERPOS; Y SINTETIZAR ENZIMATICAMENTE CLONES DE CDNA RECOMBINANTE A PARTIR DEL MRNA DE LA FENILALANINA HIDROXILASA ENRIQUECIDO POR POLISOMAS. SE UTILIZA EN EL DIAGNOSTICO DE TRASTORNOS GENETICOS HUMANOS, FENILCETONURIA CLASICA (PKU) Y EN LA IDENTIFICACION DE LOS PORTADORES DE RASGOS HETEROZIGOTICOS.
