CONSISTE EN PREGELIFICAR UNA MEZCLA CONSTITUIDA POR UN POLVO METALICO, TAL COMO ZINC, CON UN TAMAÑO DE PARTICULAS, ENTRE 0,03 MM Y 0,9 MM DE DIAMETRO, POLIACRILONITRILO HIDROLIZADO CON ALCALI Y 0,6 A 1,5% DE UNA DISOLUCION DE ELECTROLITO ALCALINO, TAL COMO DISOLUCION DE HIDROXIDO POTASICO; INTRODUCIR LA SUSPENSION FORMADA EN LA PILA; Y, EN SU CASO, AÑADIR ELECTROLITO PARA COMPLETAR LA GELIFICACION, A LA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE. TIENE APLICACIONES PARA LA FABRICACION DE PILAS ELECTROQUIMICAS ALCALINAS.
