LA SUPERFICIE DEL NUCLEO ESTA RECORRIDA POR UNA ACANALADURA EN HELICE ABIERTA PARA ALOJAR UNA O VARIAS FIBRAS OPTICAS. EL NUCLEO CILINDRICO AVANZA CON MOVIMIENTO RECTILINEO DENTRO DE LA CAVIDAD CILINDRICA DE UN CUERPO RIGIDO COAXIAL, ESTANDO PROVISTO DE APENDICES EN CONTACTO CON LAS ACANALADURAS CON OBJETO DE COLOCAR UNA FIBRA OPTICA REALIZANDO ASI UN ACOPLAMIENTO TORNILLO-TUERCA.
