Abstract

Such a binding is provided with a jaw (1) which has two lateral parts (7, 8) which extend substantially perpendicularly to the running surface and engage on a boot sole projection (9) arranged in front of the toe region of the boot (10). A clamping clip (3) serves to retain the boot sole projection (9) in the binding, extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the ski and is articulated at one end on one of the two lateral parts (7, 8), while the other end can be latched to the other lateral part of the jaw (1). As a result, simple and reliable fixing of the boot (10) is achieved, combined with small dimensions of the jaw (1).
