Abstract

Les branches 1, 2 sont articulées sur un axe 3 fixe sur une branche 1 et qu'on peut déplacer dans une fente 4 de la seconde branche 2 pour ajuster l'écartement des mâchoires. Une vis de réglage 19 tourillonne dans une chape 12 enfilée sur l'axe 3. Une crémaillère 13, ménagée dans un bord de la branche 2 qui longe la fente 4, coopère avec la vis 10 pour permettre de conférer à l'axe 3 toute position choisie dans la fente 4 par action sur la vis de réglage. Selon l'invention, la chape 12 est immobilisée angulairement sur l'axe 3 et pivote d'un seul tenant avec celui-ci et la branche 2 par rapport à la branche 1. Cette mesure évite les grippages et coincements parfois constatés dans les pinces selon la technique antérieure.
