Abstract
L'invention décrit un catalyseur perfectionné et son application dans un procédé de reformage des hydrocarbures. Le catalyseur nouveau et perfectionné de reformage des hydrocarbures comprend : 1. Un support, formé surtout d'alumine comportant au moins 0,65 cm**3 de volume de pore par gramme, dont les micropores situées entre 80 et 150 Angstrom de diamètre représentent au moins 70 % du volume des pores et dont les pores ayant plus de 1000 Angstrom constituent environ 0,1 à 3 % de ce volume des pores; et 2. Un constituant catalytique classique pour le reformage des hydrocarbures (métal noble avec promoteur et/ou stabilisant). Le catalyseur a une bonne durée de vie et il peut donner des essences à indice élevé d'octane.
