Abstract

La présente invention concerne un oxyde de fer-III- gamma modifié au cobalt, renfermant du fer bivalent, présentant une teneur en cobalt comprise entre 0,5 et 10 %, rapportée au poids de l'oxyde de fer-III. L'oxyde de fer-III- gamma selon l'invention renferme 1,2 à 18 % en poids de fer bivalent et présente une valeur DT inférieure à 2,5, DT désignant la somme des rapports entre la coercitivité à -100 degrés C et celle à + 25 degrés C et entre la rémanence relative MR /MS à -100 degrés C et celle à + 25 degrés C.
