Abstract
Mécanisme d'absorption de l'énergie. Il comporte un organe allongé dont une extrémité est disposée pour recevoir un choc et l'extrémité opposée peut se déplacer librement sous l'effet du choc. L'organe allongé comporte deux chevilles transversales séparées longitudinalement et deux fentes longitudinales dans lesquelles la cheville adjacente à l'extrémité extérieure de l'organe allongé peut glisser librement; l'autre cheville transversale est fixée à l'extrémité intérieure de l'organe allongé. Un élastomère allongé, de préférence un copolyéther-ester sous forme de ceinture, relie fonctionnellement les chevilles de façon à constituer un organe d'absorption de l'énergie lorsque l'organe allongé se déplace sous l'effet d'un choc. Applications aux pare-chocs de véhicules automobiles.
