Abstract

L'invention décrit un catalyseur de polycondensation de résines aminoplastes pour le collage de particules. Le catalyseur comprend une solution aqueuse concentrée de a du formaldéhyde et de l'urée, ou un produit non résineux de condensation du formaldéhyde et de l'urée et b un halogénure alcalin hydrosoluble. Utilise en combinaison avec un catalyseur connu, ce nouveau catalyseur accélère la polycondensation de la résine aminoplaste à laquelle il s'incorpore. Ce catalyseur peut notamment être incorporé à la composition de colle de liaison de particules cellulosiques pour produire, par chauffage en presse, un panneau de particules ou du contreplaqué.
