Appareil à souder, en particulier pour le soudage d'au moins deux feuilles de matière thermoplastique superposées, comportant un rouleau chauffé électriquement et régulé en température et un rouleau d'appui coopérant avec le rouleau chauffé. Le rouleau chauffe 12 est équipé d'une résistance 17 à coefficient de température positif servant d'élément chauffant et de régulateur de température et dont la courbe de résistance en fonction de la température est fortement ascendante dans la zone de température de travail du rouleau chauffé 12.
