Abstract

L'appareil selon l'invention comporte une enveloppe 10 à l'intérieur de laquelle est monté un tamis cylindrique fixe 32 pour former une chambre intérieure 44, une chambre annulaire 14 pour recevoir la suspension d'une entrée 12, une entrée 18 pour l'envoi d'un liquide de dilution vers une chambre 20 et ensuite à travers des orifices 30 pour que ce liquide pénètre tangentiellement dans un canal annulaire 34, une sortie 16 pour les refus et une chambre de sortie 56 et une sortie 54 pour le filtrat accepté, un mécanisme à pales 46 étant entraîné par un moteur extérieur et un arbre 48 pour empêcher que les fibres et les matières indésirables ne colmatent les ouvertures du tamis. Un tel appareil convient en particulier pour tamiser la pâte à papier brute.
