Abstract

Cette composition est du type comprenant une solution aqueuse d'une résine résol ayant un pH de 3 à 8,5, un agent d'expansion et un agent tensio-actif. Selon l'invention, elle est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend : 1 degrés une résine résol ayant une masse moléculaire moyenne en nombre inférieure à environ 300, une tolérance à l'eau supérieure à 50 %, un rapport du formal-déhyde combiné au phénol dans la gamme de 1,0:1 à 2,9:1 et, 2 degrés une dispersion de particules de sels du type oxalate insolubles, ce résol étant préparé à l'aide d'un catalyseur comprenant des hydroxydes de métaux alcalino-terreux tels que le magnésium, le calcium, le baryum, le strontium ou des mélanges de ceux-ci, le pH étant ajusté par de l'acide oxalique, de l'oxalate d'ammonium ou des mélanges de ceux-ci fournissant une dispersion stable de particules insolubles d'oxalates de ces ions de métaux alcalino-terreux dans cette solution, cette solution étant stable à la floculation des sels pour une teneur en résine résol de 60 à 99 % en poids.
