Abstract
Dispositif permettant la déshydratation de l'air fourni par une soufflante de haut-fourneau. Il comprend deux groupes reliés mécaniquement par un train d'engrenages. Le premier groupe comprend la turbine de récupération de l'énergie disponible dans les gaz sous pression émis par le haut-fourneau et un compresseur d'air alimenté par la soufflante. Le deuxième groupe comprend la turbine de détente de l'air comprimé et une génératrice de courant reliée au réseau. Les calories extraites de l'air comprimé véhiculées par de l'eau sont utilisées dans un réchauffeur où circulent les gaz émis par le haut-fourneau. Les réfrigérants d'air et les separateurs de gouttelettes d'eau placés en amont et en aval de la turbine de détente assurent la déshydratation de l'air.
