Abstract

L'invention concerne un frein à tambour comprenant une plaque support définissant une partie centrale et une extension radiale supportant un moteur de frein susceptible de solliciter deux segments contre un tambour. La partie centrale de la plaque support est disposée radialement à l'intérieur d'un espace défini par les segments, et les extrémités des segments sont supportées par le moteur de frein à l'extérieur de l'extension radiale de la plaque support. Application au freinage des véhicules automobiles.
