Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un frein à tambour comprenant un support fixe, une paire de mâchoires de frein dont l'écartement est commandé par un cylindre de roue hydraulique, ledit support fixe comprenant une partie centrale munie de moyens permettant la fixation du flasque sur une fusée, et munie de plusieurs bras s'étendant radialement depuis ladite partie centrale, un desdits bras supportant le cylindre de roue. La présente invention propose un support fixe dont la partie centrale est munie d'une encoche de façon à permettre un montage radial du support fixe sur la fusée sans démontage de l'arbre de cette dernière. Application au freinage des véhicules automobiles.
