Abstract

L'appareil selon l'invention comprend un collecteur A de formation de gouttelettes muni d'un dispositif de protection par un gaz non réactif 5 entourant les gouttelettes de liquide de maniere à empêcher une réaction prématurée de ces gouttelettes avec le gaz réactif 6 provenant d'un dispositif de prégélification B, un récipient C destiné à recueillir les sphères contenant un liquide réactif, ce liquide étant recouvert d'une couche de mousse d'amortissement 7 qui a pour rôle de réduire la déformation des sphères lorsqu'elles heurtent le liquide réactif. Les microsphères ainsi produites peuvent être utilisées en tant que combustibles nucléaires, catalyseurs, lits fluides pour la fluidisation, etc.
