Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'alcanepolyols par réaction d'oxydes de carbone et d'hydrogène dans un mélange homogène en phase liquide contenant un catalyseur constitué d'un complexe de rhodium-carbonyle en combinaison avec un sel activateur. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que la concentration du catalyseur, la température comprise entre environ 100 degrés C et environ 375 degrés C et la pression absolue comprise entre environ 56 et environ 3 500 bars, sont harmonisées de façon à ce qu'on obtienne un tel alcane-polyol.
