Abstract

L'invention concerne un nouveau composé antibiotique polypeptidique soufré que l'on obtient en cultivant Streptosporangium roseum sous-espèce incarnatum Routien ATCC 31265 ou ATCC 31266, dans des conditions aérobies en immersion dans un milieu nutritif aqueux contenant des sources assimilables de carbone et d'azote. Ce composé est utile pour le traitement d'infections microbiennes et permet d'améliorer l'efficacité de l'utilisation des aliments chez les ruminants.
