Abstract

Appareil de tomographie assisté d'un ordinateur; une source émettrice d'un faisceau de radiations divergent est entraînée en rotation autour du corps du patient, et un anneau de détecteurs fixe est disposé pour recevoir les radiations après leur passage dans le corps du patient, le rayon de cet anneau étant plus petit que celui de l'orbite sur laquelle est entraînée la source. Pour eviter que les radiations soient interceptées par ceux des détecteurs qui se trouvent, à un moment donné, entre source et corps du patient, des moyens sont prévus pour déplacer temporairement ces détecteurs hors du trajet du faisceau de radiations et ne maintenir dans ce trajet que les détecteurs se trouvant à l'opposé de la source.
