Abstract

Selon ce procédé, la cellule disposée sur un radiateur massif ou mince, ou possédant des électrodes évacuant le courant par la périphérie de la cellule, ou les deux à la fois, est éclairée non uniformément, l'éclairement étant grossièrement croissant du centre vers la périphérie. De cette manière, à quantité de lumière égale concentrée sur la cellule, la chaleur et le courant photovoltaïque développés au centre de la cellule sont moindres que ceux développés à la périphérie. Il s'ensuit une homogénéisation de la température sur toute la surface de la cellule, ladite température étant plus faible qu'en cas d'éclairement uniforme, de même qu'un accroissement du rendement photovoltaïque de la cellule, une conception simplifiée de la structure des électrodes et une évacuation plus facile de l'énergie électrique.
