Abstract
L'invention est relative à un procédé de préparation de p-alkyl-phénols. Selon l'invention, dans un premier stade de réaction on conduit l'alkylation à une température de 80 à 140 degrés C en présence d'un catalyseur en suspension, en introduisant par le bas dans le mélange réactionnel les oléfines à l'état gazeux avec une vitesse de 3 à 20 cm/s rapportée à la section libre du réacteur vide, sur la base d'un volume molaire de 25 litres par mole d'oléfine, tandis que dans un deuxième stade de réaction, on fait passer sur un catalyseur disposé de façon fixe le produit de réaction liquide obtenu, à une température de 80 à 140 degrés C et que l'on utilise aux deux stades de réaction un catalyseur dont la capacité d'échange est de 70 à 120 millivalences/100 ml. Le procédé permet d'obtenir de p-alkyl-phénols de haute qualité avec une grande sélectivité et un grand rendement.
