Abstract

Procédé et appareillage de moulage par injection, de compositions visqueuses ultérieurement solidifiables pour constituer des blocs, notamment des blocs de compositions pyrotechniques. Préférentiellement selon l'invention, la mise en place de la composition est effectuée dans une cuve étanche à volume variable présentant un volume utile initial supérieur à deux fois le volume d'un bloc de composition, les moules munis d'évents étant chacun en communication par au moins un orifice d'injection avec l'intérieur de la cuve, et le remplissage simultané des moules, dont le volume interne total correspond sensiblement au volume utile de la cuve à volume variable, étant effectué par le refoulement de la composition pyrotechnique vers la partie supérieure de la cuve à volume variable, ce refoulement résultant de la translation verticale d'une paroi mobile de la cuve Les principales applications de l'invention se rapportent à la fabrication de chargements de propergol composite de faible diamètre et de grande longueur, et à la fabrication de blocs d'explosifs composites.
