Abstract

Matière filtrante pour des séparations solide-liquide. Elle comprend des fibres de polyoléfines ou de copolyoléfines modifiées auxquelles est lié de l'alcool polyvinylique dans une proportion pouvant s'élever jusqu'à 5 % en poids, en mélange avec jusqu'à 75 % d'un adjuvant de filtration peu soluble dans l'eau ayant un potentiel électrocinétique interfacial (potentiel zêta) positif, les fibres ayant été formées par évaporation brusque d'une solution ou d'une émulsion de polyoléfine maintenue à une température et à une pression élevées, dans une zone qui est maintenue à une pression plus basse. Utilisation de ces matières filtrantes notamment pour la purification de jus alcooliques de fermentation dans la fabrication de boissons alcoolisées comme le vin, la bière, etc.
