L'invention concerne un dispositif d'entraînement pour une machine minière d'abattage 3 comportant une chaîne sans fin 1 coopérant avec une crémaillère 8 montée le long d'un transporteur. Ce dispositif comporte une pièce de butée 23 montée en avant sur les glissières 29 de la machine 3, ladite pièce 23 étant destinée à débarrasser la crémaillère 8 des fragments du produit abattu Cette opération de nettoyage est favorisée par une tuyère hydraulique de lavage 27. Application : machines de taille pour mines.
