Abstract

L'invention se rapporte au codage de données à modulation de phase modifiée. Ce codage comporte : une mémoire 4 pour stocker des mots de 8 bits représentant la sortie codée avec précompensation à l'écriture; un moyen d'entrée série-parallèle 2; et un moyen 6 couplé à la sortie de la mémoire, pour convertir de parallèle en série et former la sortie de bits en série, sous la commande de bascules 8, 10. Application : enregistrement sur bandes ou disques magnétiques.
