Abstract
The opthalmascope is for measuring the curvature of the cornea by comparing an image reflected by the cornea with a control image. A bio-microscope is used with an attachment to generate the comparison image. This attachment has a light source, a condenser, a circular diaphragm limited on each side by two parallel edges and a mirror reflecting the image into the eyepiece of the binocular microscope. The appts. can be pivoted about the optical axis and is accurate to a tenth of a millimeter.
