Abstract

Les substances pyrogènes peuvent être éliminées efficacement d'une solution aqueuse en faisant passer un courant de la solution à travers un dispositif comprenant au moins 2 membranes d'ultrafiltration anisotropes disposées en série, ces membranes ayant des limites de masse moléculaire nominales inférieures à la masse moléculaire des pyrogènes, y compris des agrégats ou micelles de celles-ci, à éliminer, dispositif dans lequel au moins une membrane est juxtaposée à au moins une autre membrane de telle sorte que pratiquement toute la surface de peau d'une des membranes soit en contact intime avec pratiquement toute la surface de peau de l'autre membrane, et dans lequel les bords de l'une des membranes sont scellés aux bords de l'une des membranes sont scellés aux bords correspondants de l'autre membrane.
