Abstract

L'invention a trait à un élément filtrant en papier plissé. Elle a pour objet un élément filtrant présentant la configuration d'un tronc de cône avec les plis s'étendant longitudinalement à la paroi inclinée du cône et possède des rides de séparation de plis pratiquées dans le papier à partir duquel est réalisé l'élément, la hauteur desdites rides étant progressive le long de l'élément de façon à assurer une séparation de plis contrôlée sur au moins la majeure partie de la longueur de l'élément. Application notamment aux filtres à air pour moteurs à combustion interne.
