Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour le rejet des déchets de traitement de la bauxite comprenant les étapes : a. De filtration des boues de bauxite en suspension provenant du décanteur-laveur. b. De lavage en continu du gâteau de filtration déshydraté sur le filtre avec de l'eau chau e, accompagné d'un recyclage de la phase liquide contenant la majeure partie de la soude vers le procédé chimique de base de l'usine de traitement de la bauxite. c. De traitement du gâteau de boues provenant du filtre avec de l'eau de mer pour refluidifier les boues et neutraliser les résidus de soude encore présents. d. De transfert de la suspension de boue inerte et neutralisée, mélangée à des résidus de sable provenant du traitement de la bauxite, dans des bassins de dépôt ou bassins de stockage.
