Séparateur ne comprenant pratiquement que des fibres de verre contenant des alcalis ayant un diamètre de fibre moyen inférieur 2 mum, et ayant une vitesse d'écoulement de l'électrolyte inférieure à 80 mm/h et une teneur en soufre S à la surface des fibres de verre inférieure à 0,02 % en poids, et batterie plomb-acide scellé utilisant ce séparateur.
