L'invention concerne un ski, en particulier un ski alpin, ayant une largeur réduite par rapport à la longueur et une extrémité antérieure recourbée vers le haut. Pour conserver un grand confort de marche et de bonnes propriétés de stabilité même avec des constructions de ski légères, on choisit un rapport V entre le moment polaire d'inertie de masse et le poids du ski en relation avec la longueur du ski (L) supérieur ou égal à 0,002467 x L - 0,2587, où L représente la longueur du ski en cm.
