Abstract

Une bague d'étanchéité comprend un élément d'étanchéité présentant une partie de fixation et une partie d'étanchéité pourvue d'un bord d'étanchéité. L'élément d'étanchéité est sensiblement de configuration à symétrie de rotation. Le bord d'étanchéité présente un profil de forme ondulée et s'étend, sur une partie de sa périphérie, vu dans la projection sur un plan axial de la bague d'étanchéité, selon un angle différent de 90° par rapport à l'axe de joint d'étanchéité. En vue d'obtenir simplement, sur le plan de la construction, une action de refoulement en retour fiable pour le joint d'étanchéité, le bord d'étanchéité 10 est prévu du côté intérieur 16 d'une partie d'appui 14. La partie d'appui renforce le bord d'étanchéité de sorte que celui-ci s'applique avec une force d'appui accrue contre la pièce de machine à rendre étanche. On obtient une étanchéité et une action de refoulement en retour optimales pour la bague d'étanchéité.
