Abstract

Une lentille intraoculaire présente un axe optique, une zone centrale, et une zone périphérique sensiblement symétriques par rapport audit axe optique et s'étendant sensiblement perpendiculairement à celui-ci, ladite zone centrale s'étendant jusqu'à une première distance, et la zone périphérique s'étendant de la première distance jusqu'à l'extrémité de la lentille intraoculaire, dans laquelle la zone centrale présente une puissance optique nominale, et la zone périphérique présente un rayon de courbure variant de manière continue et monotone en fonction de l'éloignement à l'axe optique, de telle sorte qu'une valeur d'asphéricité cible est obtenue à une seconde distance par rapport à l'axe optique, la première distance et la deuxième distance étant calculées à partir respectivement d'un diamètre de pupille photopique et d'un diamètre de pupille mésopique d'un patient.
