Abstract

La présente invention concerne un compresseur d'hydrogène à état solide, comprenant au moins une membrane fixée entre deux électrodes poreuses, formant ensemble un ensemble membrane-électrodes, une paire de plaques de cellule ou de plaques bipolaires, entre lesquelles l'ensemble membrane-électrodes est fixé, dans lequel la membrane a une surface plus grande que les électrodes poreuses et dépasse à l'extérieur d'une zone des électrodes poreuses ; et les plaques de cellule ont une surface plus grande que la membrane et dépassent à l'extérieur d'une zone de la membrane ; deux joints isolants entourant chacun l'une des électrodes poreuses ; couvrant la partie de la membrane qui dépasse à l'extérieur de la région des électrodes et dépassant à l'extérieur de la zone de la membrane, comprenant en outre une couche de renforcement, disposée entre les joints isolants, à l'extérieur de la zone des électrodes.
