Abstract

L’invention concerne un élément de structure (1) d’un véhicule automobile, ledit élément de structure étant un corps creux allongé comprenant deux parois latérales (3,5), une desdites parois latérales étant une paroi latérale interne (3) et l’autre étant une paroi latérale externe (5), ledit élément de structure (1) étant remarquable en ce qu’au moins une de ses parois latérales montre une zone de renfort (7) sur au moins une partie de sa hauteur, ladite zone ayant une résistance mécanique Rm1 d’au moins 250 MPa telle que mesurée selon la norme ISO 6892-1:2016 et selon la direction transverse ; et en ce qu’au moins une desdites parois comprend, au niveau de ladite zone de renfort (7), un premier relief de rigidification (11) s’étendant longitudinalement sur au moins une partie de la longueur dudit élément de structure (1).
